jacob's ladder - 6/10. p s y c h o l o g i c a l t h r i l l e r. there is about a 15 minute stretch which is incredibly interesting, but the movie blows it by one, trying to rationalize what's happening instead of letting it be bizarre and two, by throwing that to the wind for the sake of a surprise ending. kin to that movie where william hurt throws himself at a wall.
fantastic four: rise of the silver surfer - 4/10. listen, the first one was light fun. it was breezy. the second one is more of that, except it doesn't even try to pretend to be more than it is. it exists so a character everybody thinks is cool can appear in a movie.
walking tall - 5/10. the one with the rock. there is no reason for this movie to exist. it is taking up space.
i'm tired of watching movies.
i don't think i'm gonna do it anymore.
